Favourite Marketing Campaigns: More Fun Than Dogs Dressed Like People

Client: Edmonton International Street Performers Festival

Designer: Curio Studio with photos by Epic Photography

Applications: Posters, postcards, StreetFest merch, print ads (Edmonton Journal, VUE magazine, Nightlife), tranist shelters, bus ends, digital billboards and social media, including the launch of StreetFest’s Instagram page in June 2015.

Why we love it: Besides the obvious (we got to do a photoshoot with dogs dressed like humans), this campaign was fun, silly and you can’t help but smile when you look at it; perfect for StreetFest. The images of the dogs were used as a group, like on poster above, and individually. Each dog had a persona that was used to promote different aspects of the festival, like the one below for Late Night Madness.

So what is more fun than dogs dressed like humans? 10 days in a Downtown Square filled with acrobats, jugglers, unicyclists, musicians, clowns and magicians!
